Alternative Middle School Home

The Alternative Middle School has two purposes.  First, to provide a short-term interim school placement for discipline or other reasons.  The program offers services in a safe, structured environment where students are expected to grow socially, emotionally, and academically to be better equipped to participate and succeed in their home school.

The second purpose is to provide a long term placement that will provide an emotionally and physically safe environment for disaffected and at-risk middle school students while they work to catch up academically so that they can transition back to their home high school.
